Little Rock Air Force Base selects Power Technology to present at innovation program

The program invites businesses to pitch “innovative” solutions or potential new capabilities that fulfill requirements, close capability gaps, or provide potential technological advancements. Power Technology was selected out of a group of candidates to present two new laser-based lighting innovation possibilities to officials at the base on June 3, 2021.
“It’s an honor to be chosen,” said Walter Burgess, Power Technology vice president of engineering. “We have designed two excellent laser-based lighting innovations that could really raise the barand streamline Air Force mission capabilities.”
Power Technology’s pitch to LRAFB includes new options to enhance aircraft lighting technology.
“We have a long history of providing laser-based solutions for Defense, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement applications. We look forward to the Air Force officials’ consideration of these new and modern options for aircraft lighting enhancement,” said Burgess.
Additionally, Power Technology will be exhibiting its defense solutions portfolio at the upcoming Mid-America Aerospace and Defense Summit the following week in Fort Smith.
